Oven Baked Chicken with Hot Pepper Jelly
Oven Baked Chicken with Hot Pepper Jelly is an easy meal: cover chicken with the jelly and butter and cook in the oven. Serve with potatoes and veggies.
- 4 pieces chicken (thighs, legs, or 2 boneless breasts)
- jar Hot Pepper Jelly
- 1/2 stick (4 tablespoons butter)
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Grease a baking dish and line with the chicken pieces. Spoon the jelly over the chicken. Dot with the butter. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and cook until golden brown and the juices run clear and the temperature of the meat is 160 degrees. Boneless meat will take less time.
